Enter! The Cider Farm’s First Apple Brandy

While we are harvesting this year’s crop, and oh what a crop it is, we are very excited about the release of our first Apple Brandy.  In fact, tomorrow night, Thursday, October 3 from 5 to 9 PM is our Brandy Release party. It is being held right at the Yahara Bay Distillery who produced and is selling our Brandy. 2013 Brandy, snifter, barrel While they make their own apple brandy, which we like and have shared with many friends, Yahara Bay distillers commented on how special our brandy is.  The special apples we’ve used really come through. I, too, was amazed.  And maybe the addition of wild apple wood from our farm in the aging also adds to its distinctions. Also this is most likely the most hand-crafted apple brandy on the market.  Everything from hand-grafting our true cider trees to the labels was done by hand.  Even a hand-cranked letterpress was used for the labels.  And we hand applied them. So come to Yahara Bay Distillers on October 3rd evening, if you can.  And if not, know that you can always stop by there to get your bottle of something special from The Cider Farm.
