Live Music at the Tasting Room with They Drive By Night
They Drive By Night
They Drive by Night is a duo comprised of Todd Borenstein and Tom Beard. We play a mix of ’60s pop/psychedelic genres along with some original material.
Tom plays keyboards and guitar and Todd plays bass guitar and some percussion. We’ve focused on creating unique versions of some well-known 1960s psychedelic pop songs, as well as our own rather offbeat, but very entertaining, original material. We cover tunes by the Beatles, Dave Clark Five, The Zombies, The Monkees, Deep Purple, Simon & Garfunkel, Badfinger, and some one-hit wonders like The Tee Set, Shocking Blue and Edison Lighthouse.
Our self-titled album received very positive reviews from the Wisconsin State Journal and the Isthmus. Our CD was sold in local record stores, as well as Amazon.com and eBay, also receiving airplay on local radio and internet stations. These are available at our shows.
Live music is played in the Greenhouse, a semi-outdoors area with roll-up doors.
The Cider Farm
The Cider Farm offers ciders made with organic, true cider apples grown near Mineral Point, Wisconsin. The ciders pair beautifully with the made from ‘scratch’ small plates featuring locally and organically grown ingredients.
